Sesame seeds are a wonderful source of calcium as well as nourishing fatty acids (oils) but there’s only so many things you can put them on. This fresh salad comes to life with tahini, a paste which is made out of sesame seeds

Instructions
  1. Combine the lettuce, kale, cucumber and mint in a bowl
  2. To make the dressing, add all of the ingredients together in a small bowl and mix until thoroughly combined. Add avocado on top and either stir the dressing into the veggies or add on top of the salad.
  3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve as a side dish or top with your favourite protein
